Limitations
Since the compositing system must make some assumptions and compromises it is not guaranteed to give identical results to full rendering in all cases, even though in many it will be very close. Some key things to consider however are:
- Cannot separate things that affect the direction of rays
- All rendering must be performed with Iray Photoreal
- Some contributions may appear more than once, leading to inaccuracy
- Texturing should not be applied to the indirect components
