generate_complex_scene
Creates a complex scene and leaves it in the database to use. Useful for quickly making a non-trivial scene with large numbers of instances and/or materials. The command generates a complete scene including the sun and sky environment, camera and options.
arguments
- "create_material_per_instance" : Boolean (default: false)
If true each instance gets its own random material.
- "create_mesh_per_instance" : Boolean (default: false)
If true each instance gets its own mesh rather than sharing a single mesh.
- "instance_count" : Uint32 (default: "100")
Number of instances to create.
- "scene_name" : String
Name of the scene in the database. If not provided a UUID will be generated and used instead.
return value
Import_resultA user type containing the name of the imported root group, options block, camera instance and camera. The imported_elements and messages fields will be empty arrays and not populated.
